Dog Friendly Camping Parks

Eurocamp has seen the perfect opportunity to promote its dog friendly camp sites on the continent now that more people than ever appear to have acquired a canine companion during lockdown.

With 3.2 million additional UK households now rubbing shoulders with a ‘fluffy friend’, it means there are 17 million pet-owning homes in the UK according to the Pet Food Manufacturers Association.

And with many of them wanting a holiday Eurocamp, which has sites across Europe, has set out its stall to appeal to canine loving families in need of sun, sand and places to walk the family mutt!

With easy accessibility from the ferry, the company’s parcs are a perfect way to avoid the hustle and bustle of busy airports and planes – keeping the whole family, and of course the pooch, happy. Here’s a sample:

Domaine des Ormes, Brittany
Set in 400 acres of wooded parkland this five-star parc is the perfect destination for families bringing their dog, and even better is that it’s just a 40 minute drive from the port at St Malo. Kids can enjoy the new tropical dome pool complex, treetop adventure course and zipline to name just a few activities. Plus Mont St Michel is also within easy reach for a highly recommended day out.
Prices from £971 per holiday home based on a 7 night stay in August 2021.

Campingpark Gitzenweiler Hof, Germany
Get back to nature in Germany and immerse yourself with woodland and lakeside wandering. This award-winning parc is ideal for young families as it has its very own farm, pool complex, basketball courts and even a disco! Indulge in the local cuisines, take a boat trip to nearby Austria and Switzerland or how about spending a lazy afternoon at a local Bavarian vineyard.
Prices from £933 per holiday home based on a 7 night stay in August 2021.

Valle Gaia, Tuscany
Set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Valle Gaia is surrounded by a blend of pine, olive and cypress trees. This small parc is quiet and relaxing with two pools, a traditional pizzeria and a well-stocked wine cellar! Nearby, you can go horse riding or try the windsurfing school at the beach 9 km away. Off-parc you’ll discover plenty of nearby places to explore like the town of Cecina, home to a lovely (and dog-friendly) sandy beach and Pisa with its famous leaning tower is just 45 minutes away.
Prices from £936 per holiday home based on a 7 night stay in August 2021.
