Luxury all-inclusive operator, Scenic, offers a number of European no-fly river cruises for those who prefer not to travel by plane.

Sailing from Basel to Amsterdam, guests will enjoy an evening of grandeur at a private concert at a fine Baroque palace in Rastatt, a guided tour of Reichsburg Castle and a ride on the oldest cog railway in Germany. Prices start from £2,345 per person departing 4 April 2022.

Take in enchanting castles and idyllic vistas while sampling some of the area’s world-famous wines on a river cruise through the beautiful Bordeaux region.

Sail through the ancient Saint-Émilion and Médoc wine regions on board the eight-day Bordeaux Affair itinerary.
