MarBella Hat-trick As ‘Elix’ Officially Opens On Mainland Greece

MarBella Collection has announced the official opening of its third property MarBella Elix.

The much anticipated 5* hotel is situated in a previously undiscovered region of mainland Greece and is the brand’s first property outside of the island of Corfu.

Perched above the beautiful Karavostasi Beach in the Parga region, the hotel looks west towards Corfu and is located in an area of astounding natural beauty. The luxurious MarBella Elix sits in unspoilt surroundings where the mountains meet the Ionian Sea.Guests to the newly open hotel can expect beautiful sea views, 146 spacious and contemporary guest rooms and suites, a beautiful stretch of golden coastline with turquoise, crystal-clear waters and exceptional facilities.

It has been designed with the environment in mind to reflect and preserve the natural surroundings, mirroring the sandy cliffs with a contemporary and minimalist style. In celebration of the opening the lobby will exhibit two Greek kaftans, a traditional silk costume dating back to the 19th century, as a nod to the region’s history during the Ottoman occupation.

Portugal’s Quinta do Lago resort is introducing its newest restaurant UMAMI, which officially opened on 18th May 2021.UMAMI is Quinta do Lago’s first eatery to offer an Asian-fusion style cuisine and is situated within the private resident’s club of the RESERVA development, nestled beside the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

Set to provide all guests with a refined and immersive dining experience, UMAMI brings a contemporary take on authentic Asian cuisine to the Algarve.

From ethically sourced, sustainable seafood to a selection of traditionally inspired dishes cooked on the 'Robata Grill', this intimate restaurant seats 20 people indoors and up to 60 on the outside terrace. UMAMI is opening in conjunction with the whole resort, as it prepares to welcome back UK guests this summer.
