Sustainable 'Carbon Offset' Villas

A range of ‘eco’ properties from villas to Chateaux in Europe, are being showcased by the holiday rental company Oliver’s Travels.

The collection allows guests to book a holiday safe in the knowledge that each property is playing its part in being more eco-friendly: with every holiday booking made, Oliver’s Travels will plant enough trees to offset 100% of the villa stay.

Oliver’s Travels has highlighted a selection of 122 properties which are making efforts to be a little greener.

The Bee Barn, Kent, UK - Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms

Bee Barn is an eco-haven sleeping six guests in three atmospheric bedrooms. This special holiday home combines the best of sustainable architecture and comfortable luxury living, and lowers its ecological footprint by using low impact materials, a living green roof, smart air quality sensors and infrared underfloor heating. It is on the doorstep of Canterbury and the Kent coast with walking, cycling, water sports, fishing, golf and horse riding nearby.

Domaine Les Pyrenees, France – Sleeps up to 24 people in 9 bedrooms

This renovated farmhouse set at the foothills of the Pyrenees is close to the Spanish border and just a short drive from one of France’s most enchanting villages.
