After the success of last year's sell-out tour, the UK's number 1 multi-platinum selling vocal harmony group, The Overtones, will be bringing a non-stop party featuring songs for all the family. The set will include their original songs plus covers from the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Drifters, Frankie Valli, and The Four Seasons, plus festive favourites!

We caught up with them to learn a little more.

Hi, how are you all?

We're well, thanks! Just back from performing a few shows in the Caribbean!

We hear it's Ladies Night. Tell us more! And not only have you got the new single, but you're back on the road... Are you excited?

We're so excited to announce our new tour and to have the single out. Ladies Night is a great song to perform live, and we always get a great reaction.

What do you have planned for the shows?

For our Christmas tour, it will be pure party! Feel good vibes! We, the boys, are the ones who incite jubilation and inspire others to sing and dance. There's also something special in the air at Christmas time!

You have a rather packed-back catalogue; how do you decide which songs make the cut?

We have a discussion, a few disagreements, and then finally agree!! It's a big old conversation, as we have such a vast catalogue as you mentioned. But the way we look at it, the more songs we have, the better the show will be!

Last year's Christmas single aside, it has been a while since you released new music. Have you got any more tricks up your sleeve?

We've actually just been planning some writing sessions, so expect new music soon!

You have achieved so much over the last decade and a half; what ambitions are left unfulfilled?

Spreading as much joy and happiness as possible is our mission. We give people escapism and a great night out, and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

How has success altered your working relationship?

We're honestly more ambitious than ever. We must now schedule things slightly differently and more carefully. We all have families, but it's lovely when we're all together.

Lastly, if you could collaborate with one artist, who would you choose?

I'm going to say Bruno Mars. I reckon we could create an absolute banger!!
