Blackpool boxer Callum Fahy is excited about what 2026 could bring following his third professional victory. This was his first time in the ring following a hand injury last summer and his first time boxing on behalf of Black Flash Promotions.

The bout went well. I had a serious opponent in Jack Swallow from Derbyshire who’s beaten tough opposition in his nine paid bouts. I proved I had no ring rust, and I wore him down. The injury had held me back a bit, so I’m keen to have as many matches as possible this year and certainly move up as soon as I can to six rounds, then eight, and get myself in contention for an area title fight. It’d probably be at middleweight, where I’m most comfortable.
I said after my debut nearly a year ago that I’d shown just a teaser of what I’m capable of, and that’s still the case. I can’t wait to meet boxers as keen for success as I am. Like any boxer worth his salt, I want to prove how tough and courageous I can be and that I have the physical and mental strength and resilience eventually to put everything on the line in the ultimate twelve-round war every fighter craves. Boxing as a professional is all I ever wanted to do, and I’m not waiting around. I’ll take any bout that’s offered. I’m now well into the professional game at just 21. I’m ranked 59th apparently out of 115 British middleweights, and I’m determined to put Blackpool boxing more firmly on the map where it belongs.
Blackpool-born and bred, former Unity Academy High student Callum lives in Claremont and shares his training between Collyhurst and Moston Gym, where he’s trained directly by his manager, former professional boxer Pat Barrett, and Combat Gym in Kirkham with Billy Patterson. Barrett is enthusiastic about Callum’s potential. “Callum’s hand was raised after a solid performance on the Liverpool show in which he showed grit, power and skill in every round. Back after a hand injury, there was no stopping him.”
Callum works as a lifeguard and enjoys the contact with young people. He also offers personal training sessions. “I’d like to get into schools and teach some basic boxing techniques. Combat sports are recognised for building confidence and resilience as well as improving physical and mental health. Students who do well could then be directed to one of Blackpool’s many local clubs. Any teachers interested in me potentially running a club or assisting at an activity day this summer can get in touch. I have the requisite checks.”
To progress to the highest-level Callum needs sufficient sponsorship to be able to concentrate exclusively on his boxing. “I want to thank my existing sponsors for their generosity, and these include MID Digital Solutions, O2 Business, Enexus Energy, @bp_boxing_, @shawshotmedia, Cal Howarth Gardening, IT massage.com and Magic Club Claremont.”
“New potential sponsors and interested school staff should please contact me on Instagram @callumfahy10 or Facebook Callum Fahy or e-mail callumfahy10@gmail.com. Keep looking out for my name and watch me climb through the middleweight ranks.”
