Women’s Rugby World Cup: What Happened During The Group Stages?
England and Australia both qualified for the quarter finals after finished 1st and 2nd in Pool A respectively with the hosts winning three from three within the group stages to finish on 15 whilst Australia won one, drew one and lost one to finish ahead of third placed United States of America on points difference.

It’s been a busy time off-track in the Formula 1 world of late, but this year’s campaign has now continued on-track in Belgium, with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri winning this afternoon’s Grand Prix at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit and extending his lead in the Drivers’ Championship after Max Verstappen had been triumphant for Red Bull in yesterday’s Sprint event.

Craig Wood, a 34-year-old former Army rifleman from Doncaster, has made history by becoming the world’s first triple amputee to sail solo, non-stop, and unsupported across the Pacific. Craig is the first sailor with a disability to sail the Pacific solo and unsupported, covering 7506 nautical miles at an average speed of 3.6 knots: a feat he completed in 90 days.

Formula 1 returned to Silverstone this weekend, a venue where it all began back on 13 May 1950, and a packed three days of on-track action culminated in this afternoon’s rain-affected British Grand Prix, which was won by a delighted Lando Norris for McLaren. F1 rivalries, and especially intra-team ones, can often be intense, as each driver wants to prove to his team that he is faster.
