Israel Set To Get Green ‘Holiday’ Light?

Israel is being touted as one of this year’s holiday hotspots thanks to the country’s impressive management of Covid-19 and its strong vaccination rollout programme.

The UK Government’s ‘green list’ – announcing those ‘safe’ countries with UK clearance to visit – will be formally announced on May 10th when there’s a strong chance that Israel will be encouraged to ‘open its doors’ to Brits from May 17th.

Little Emperors, the private members luxury hotel club, says 10% of its members have already made bookings to this Mediterranean hotspot with the hotel group recording a 50% increase in enquiries for Israeli hotels compared to last April.

The country is well known for its vibrant culture, the Dead Sea, desert activities, culinary scene, as well as its boutique hotel offering. With the new Six Senses hotel opening in the Negev Desert this August, Little Emperors is predicting that this soar in bookings will continue towards the second half of this year too.

Below is a selection of top hotels in Israel to visit from 17th May 2021:

The Norman Tel Aviv
The Norman is the only luxury boutique hotel in central Tel Aviv, perfectly situated in the heart of the city. Guests will experience the stunning rooftop, infinity swimming pool and sundeck, all with beaming views over the city. Elegant Mediterranean dining options are available at the hotel restaurant, as well as Japanese tapas merged with European delicacies to tantalise taste-buds.
