As the sun set on Lancashire’s TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival for 2025, organisers announced the huge music event will return for five nights next year from Wednesday July 1 to Sunday July 5.

This year has seen one of the most celebrated music icons of all time grace the stage of festival with legendary musician Stevie Wonder kicking off the opening night on Thursday.

Maintaining the reputation of a festival that attracts the biggest global names, Saturday saw a headlining set from superstar Justin Timberlake and it closed in style on Sunday with a double headlining night with Scottish rock icons Simple Minds and Texas.

Special guests over the three nights included Corinne Bailey Rae, Jess Glynne, Dagny and Cast. Sunday also saw a special tribute to The Alarm’s Mike Peter’s. The Alarm were due to play at the festival, but Mike sadly died at the end of April. To honour his legacy, Mike’s wife Jules made a heartwarming tribute to her husband before introducing their musician son Evan to the stage to play three songs in his father’s memory.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “What a week. Once again we’ve have had the honour of welcoming incredible artists to our stage on Lytham Green.

“Plans are already well underway for 2026. It’s going to be a very special year for us as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lytham Festival and we look forward to revealing more details and the amazing line-up we have planned very soon.”
