New York Hotel – But It’s No Big Apple!

The countdown has begun to the opening of York’s newest hotel, a period property set in the heart of the ancient city within a restored Grade 2 listed townhouse.

The New Holgate is scheduled to open at the end of this month and is in the final stages of a spectacular facelift which will see it transformed into a 12 room facility arranged over four floors with double, luxury and duplex family suites.

Located 15 minutes’ walk to the city and York Racecourse, and only 10 minutes from the railway station, the restoration is the brainchild of owner Nick Bradley
