Greece’s Sani Resort has announced the reopening of its Bear Grylls Survival Academy for the third year running.

The unique academy, first of its kind in a European resort, has been developed in partnership with the renowned adventurer and multi-award-winning survivalist, Bear Grylls.

And, this year, all courses will be offered as complimentary to all guests, encouraging them to challenge themselves and develop new skills through nature-based adventures.

Sani Resort's prime location in a 1,000-acre ecological reserve, complete with pine-fringed beaches, lush woodlands and wetlands, provides the perfect setting for active families seeking an immersive experience.

Under the direction of a team of instructors hand-selected by Bear Grylls, the Survival Academy offers a unique opportunity for families and young adventurers to connect with nature and develop expert survival skills within the breathtaking environment of Sani Resort.

A series of dynamic courses feature a variety of activities designed to teach guests the essentials of wilderness survival. These activities range from shelter and fire-building, to navigation, signalling for help, and astro-navigation on a nighttime trek through the resort's woodland.

The academy is designed to combine the three natural worlds of Sani; the unspoilt beach, the Sani Forest and the Sani Wetlands to showcase the resort’s prime position.

The course also includes a spectacular extraction experience by boat with breathtaking views over the Cape Sani, an exclusive activity offered to Sani Resort.

Courses Include:
Family Course
A unique opportunity for families with children aged six and above to cultivate a strong bond while learning valuable survival skills. The programme begins at base camp with an introduction to the "priorities of survival" including lessons on how to construct a shelter and build a campfire.

Teen Course
An immersive six-day programme designed for teens aged 13-17 seeking an adventure in the great outdoors. The programme features a diverse range of activities, including navigation, spear making, stalking, tracking, raft building, and foraging for wild food.
