Team GB At The 2026 Milano Cortina Games: Week 3 Roundup
Team GB added a silver and a bronze medal to their medal tally to end the Winter Olympics, Team GB’s most successful ever, with a total haul of 5 (3 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze).

Monday 16th February: Day 10
Team Morrison defeated Denmark 7-2 but lost to Switzerland 10-6 in the curling women’s round robin.
In Alpine skiing men’s slalom, Laurie Taylor did not finish run 1, whilst Dave Ryding and Billy Major finished the slalom in 17th and 16th, respectively.
Brad Hall and Taylor Lawrence sat in 8th after the first two runs of the Bobsleigh 2-man heats with a total time of 1:51.54.
Niall Treacy finished 4th in the 8th heat of the short track speed skating men’s 500m heats with a time of 56.712 and therefore didn’t advance to the quarterfinals.
Team Mouat fell to a tight 6-7 defeat against Norway in the curling men’s round robin.
Adele Nicoll finished 18th in the bobsleigh women’s monobob as Britain's first ever Olympian in the discipline finished with a total time of 4:01.86.
Kirsty Muir finished 4th in the freestyle skiing women’s big air final after her total score of 174.75 left her less than 4 points off the bronze medal.
Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby finished 15th in the figure skating mixed pairs event after their season’s best score in the free programme brought their total to 179.06.
Tuesday 17th February: Day 11
Olympic debutant Kristen Spours finished 29th in the women’s singles short programme with a score of 45.54 but was unable to progress to the free skate.
I feel really good, and I feel happy with what I did. I'm a little bit disappointed with one mistake, which is usually something that I can do in my sleep, but it happens. I was more nervous today than I was coming into the team event, so I'm happy.

Brad Hall and Leon Greenwood, who replaced Taylor Lawrence on a precautionary measure, finished 12th in the Bobsleigh 2-man final heats with a total time of 3:43.43.
Team Mouat fell to a 5-9 defeat against Canada in their penultimate curling men’s round robin match.
Wednesday 18th February: Day 12
Team Morrison defeated both the USA (8-7) and Japan (9-3) in their women’s round-robin curling matches.
Team Mouat defeated the USA 9-2 in their final curling men’s round robin match to keep their chances of progressing to the semi-finals alive.
Andrew Musgrave and James Clugnet finished 5th, Britain’s best-ever cross-country result at an Olympics, in the cross-country men’s team sprint free final.

Thursday 19th February: Day 13
Team Morrison beat Italy 7-4 in their final women’s round-robin curling match, but after the USA beat Switzerland 7-6 Team GB failed to progress to the semi-finals.
The one big takeaway for me is, Beijing, we had no crowd. And here, I have loved playing in front of the crowd so much. That's what we train for. This is what we love to do. And in that environment out there, the girls have thrived on that. And I just can't be prouder of them.

After Italy failed to win their final match, Team Mouat qualified for the curling men’s semi-finals, in which they defeated Switzerland 8-5 to reach the gold medal match.
Zoe Atkin qualified 1st overall in the Freestyle Skiing Women’s Halfpipe with a best score of 91.50.

Friday 20th February: Day 14
Gus Kenworthy and Liam Richards competed in the Freestyle Skiing Men’s Halfpipe qualification, which saw Kenworthy progress to the final after finishing 9th, whilst 18-year-old Richards, who finished 17th, didn’t progress.
Adele Nicoll and Ashleigh Nelson finished 20th and 21st in the first two heats of the 2-woman bobsleigh event, which left them with a total time of 1:56.00 after the event’s first day.
Ellia Smeding finished 23rd in the speed skating women’s 1500 m with a time of 1:58.40.
Gus Kenworthy returned to action in the Freestyle Skiing Men’s Halfpipe final, in which he finished 6th with a best score of 84.75.

It's hard to know how to feel; sixth feels so close, so I'm pretty bummed. I'm stoked for the boys that put it down. It was tough conditions; it was really icy up there. Being back in the Olympics is special, so I'll see you in four years.

Cross country men’s team sprint free final

Saturday 21st February: Day 15
Following his 28th place finish in the seeding event, with a time of 1:09.33, Oliver Davies was unable to reach the quarterfinals of the Freestyle Skiing Men’s Ski Cross event after he finished 4th in his 1/8 final.
In the Cross-Country Skiing Men’s 50km Mass Start Classic, Andrew Musgrave finished 6th with a time of 2:10:43.5 whilst Joe Davies finished in 16th with a time of 2:14:52.7.
Brad Hall, Greg Cackett, Leon Greenwood and Taylor Lawrence (Bobsleigh 4-man team) opened their competition with a time of 1:49.43 which left them in 7th after the first two of four heats.
Team Mouat won the silver medal in the men's curling after losing to Canada 6-9 in the gold medal game.
I think we put ourselves in a really good position to win the game. It just came down to a few shots in the ninth and tenth — all of us missed one.
We’re disappointed — very disappointed — but we battled so hard all week just to get here. I’m trying to remind myself how much of a fight it was even to win a medal. I’m incredibly proud to be able to say I’m a two-time Olympic medallist.

The final two runs of Adele Nicoll and Ashleigh Nelson’s 2-woman competition saw them finish in 15th with a total time of 3:51.83.
Sunday 22nd February: Day 16
Brad Hall, Greg Cackett, Leon Greenwood and Taylor Lawrence, Team GB’s Bobsleigh 4-man team, finished 7th after their fourth and final run left them with a total time of 3:39.12.
Zoe Atkin won the bronze medal in the Freestyle Skiing Women’s Halfpipe final after finishing with a best score of 92.50.
